Using TidyFormats

These terms apply when you use this website. TidyFormats is an independently operated collection of browser-based utilities. You can contact the website operator through the Send a message button. No account or payment is needed to use the current tools.

Your data and results

You retain your rights in the data you process and the results you create. TidyFormats does not claim ownership of your input or output. Conversion runs on your device; we cannot retrieve lost work, recover downloads, or inspect previous conversions. Keep your own backups.

Review your results

Keep a copy of your original data and check output before using it in a production system. Conversions have limitations, including JavaScript number precision, CSV type ambiguity, and loss of comments or formatting. Each tool explains its relevant limits.

Use responsibly

Only process data you are entitled to use. You remain responsible for how you use the input and results. Do not attempt to disrupt this site or use it for unlawful activity.

Availability

The tools are provided as available. Features may change and uninterrupted access or error-free results are not promised. Nothing on this page is intended to limit rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Privacy and optional services

Our Privacy page explains local processing, optional analytics, consent choices, and messages sent to support. Third-party services, including your email provider, operate under their own terms. Analytics and advertising permissions are separate from access to the tools.
